EVENTS CONDUCTED UNDER 'AZAADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV' AT ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR COMMAND (FEB 2022)

IAF Publicity Campaign. As part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebration and to educate children on our rich culture and heritage, a team led by Chief Administrative Officer 37 Wg, AF visited various schools in Port Blair. A motivational lecture was conducted for the benefit of the students. In addition, branch wise eligibility criteria for joining the IAF was covered during this publicity drive along with distribution of publicity material. A large number of students attended the drive and showed enthusiasm to join the service.

DSC Corps Day Celebration. DSC Corps Day was celebrated at on 25 Feb 22. The gathering witnessed an hour long entertainment program put up by the DSC Jawans. The Day was celebrated with great fervour incl motivational words by the Chief Guest. A tribute was also paid to all the great men and warriors for their valour and sacrifice.
