Combined Commanders Conference 2021: 06 Mar 2021

 

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the valedictory session of the Combined Commanders Conference organised by the Ministry of Defence at Kevadia, Gujarat on 06 March 2021.  The PM appreciated the structure and agenda of the conference. He particularly appreciated the inclusion of Junior Commissioned Officers and Non Commissioned Officers in this year's conference. Combined Commanders Conference a premier brain-storming event of the Military Commanders from the three Services is organised under the directions of the Chief of Staff Committee. The PM has envisioned five pillars i.e. Freedom Struggle, Ideas at 75, Achievements at 75, Actions at 75 and Resolves at 75 as the guiding force for moving forward keeping dreams and duties as inspiration. He called upon the armed forces to use the occasion to undertake activities and initiatives that would inspire youth of the country. Headquarter Integrated Defence Staff, Headquarter Andaman and Nicobar Command(the only tri service theater command of Indian Armed Forces) and Armed Forces Training Institutions(AFTIs) are conducting events aimed at instilling a sense of national pride among the people while representing the ethos of ‘unity in diversity’.
