Defence Wives Welfare Association (DWWA) is a unique welfare organization in Headquarters Integrated defence Staff, which synthesises different service cultures to achieve the true spirit on “Unity in Diversity”.
DWWA aims to provide a platform through which the genuine welfare needs of all families and children of personnel serving in the IDS and all Joint Services Organisation under it can be addressed in a timely and responsive manner.
Logo. The logo of DWWA is the ‘Tree of Life’, which symbolises harmony between the three Services. Purple is the colour of jointmanship & integration between the three Services.
